103 riders and a 140 horses at The Bagnaia

The Italian Championships Criterium 2009 will take place just a stone’s throw away from Siena. Much to the joy of those passionate about the sport, three medal winners from Windsor will start the event: Piergiorgio Bucci, Juan Carlos Garcia e Natale Chiaudani. Bucci, the 2008 champion, will be riding Portorico, while Chiaudani will be mounting Snai Seldana, the horse with which he won silver at the European Champinships in Windsor, and Garcia will be accompanied by Pepite de Muze. Pippo d’Onofrio will not be present at the Bagnaia because Landzeu 2, the top horse of his team, is currently injured.
