119th edition of Fieracavalli presented
The 119th edition of the prestigious equestrian event Fieracavalli has been presented today. On hand for the unveiling of the renowned equestrian extravaganza was Barbara Degani – undersecretary of Environmental Protection.
The event will run through until Sunday October 29th and is one of the leading European events in the equestrian field with 3 thousand horses of 60 breeds, 750 presenting companies from 25 nations, 130 thousand square metres of exhibition pavilions and fields not to mention 200 competitions and shows.
Also on hand for the presentation was the President of Veronafiere Maurizio Danese who was eager to stress the role the event has in promoting equestrian sports in Italy. Present for the cutting of the ribbon amongst others was Marco Di Paola, the President of the Italian Equestrian Federation.
This is what Di Paola had to say: ‘This exhibition plays host to all things equestrian and is a chance for those registered with the Italian Equestrian Federation to test themselves on the international stage.’
