Al Shaqab Grand Prix Day: Tour 3 Celebrates Its Champions as Scott Brash Claims a Double Victory
Three Grand Prix brought Tour 3 of H.H. The Father Amir’s Prix 2026 to a close at the Longines Arena at Al Shaqab : CSI1* 1.30m, CSI3* 1.50m and the headline CSI5* 1.60m. Her Excellency Sheikha Hind bint Hamad Al Thani, Vice Chairperson of Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development, crowned the top three winners of the CSI5* Grand Prix at the third round of H.H. The Father Amir’s Prix, which concluded today at the Longines Arena at Al Shaqab.
Doha, Qatar, 24 January 2026 – Tour 3 of H.H. The Father Amir’s Prix 2026 crowned its champions at Longines Arena at Al Shaqab, led by a standout double from Scott Brash (GBR), who repeated his Tour 2 success by winning both the CSI3* 1.50m Grand Prix and the CSI5* 1.60m Grand Prix.
Day 3 Highlights
The decisive Saturday delivered a familiar headline as Scott Brash (GBR) completed a Tour 3 double: first taking the CSI3* 1.50m Grand Prix (Jump-Off) (LR-B) with Hello Folie, then returning under the lights to claim the tour’s showpiece CSI5* 1.60m Grand Prix (Jump-Off) (LR-AA) on Hello Mango. Earlier, Abdullah Alsharbatly (KSA) set the CSI5* tone by winning the 1.50m Special Two-Phase (LR-D) with Boeckmanns Lord Pezi Junior, while CSI1* saw Suzette Tittle (USA) and Jasmijn secure the 1.30m Grand Prix (Jump-Off) after Khalid Al Hadi (KSA) topped the 1.20m Accumulator with Carlton de Sauvageonn.
Qatar signed off Tour 3 with strong home highlights, led by Faris Saad A H Al Qahtani (QAT) winning the CSI3* 1.40m Accumulator with Com du Rouet Z and Sultan Salem Al Naemi (QAT) going quickest in the CSI3* 1.30m Table C on Cavallina 13, alongside juniors success as Khalid Jassim Al Suwaidi (QAT) topped the CSIJ-B 1.20m Jump-Off qualifier with E.T.’s Queeny Z.
