Another paradressage medal for Sara Morganti at WEG

Rixt van der Horst won the gold medal in the para-dressage Grade II at the WEG riding the 13-year-old KWPN Uneik with a score of 72.457%, followed by the Briton Natasha Baker on Cabral (71.429%), and bronze for Canada’s Laura Barwick on Equine Canada (70.914%).The Italian Francesca Salvade was 14th on Muggel 4.The paradressage Grade Ia produced a big surprise with Sara Morganti on Royal Delight (76.478%) taking silver after beeing pipped by Sophie Christianse on 77.565%.Bronze went to Singapore’s Laurentis Tan on Rube James 2.Great Britain won the team and continued their unbeaten run under coach David Hunter which goes back to 2002, with a score of 456.024%, well ahead of Holland (436.941%), and Germany in third on 432.910.Italy finished fourth on 428.449%.source: www.normandy2014.com
