Athens Equestrian Festival 2021: Longines EEF Series Athens – 1st Day

Athens Equestrian Festival & Longines EEF Series Athens CSIO3*-W first day ended successfully at the Markopoulo Olympic Equestrian Center, Athens, Greece.
 
In the highest class of the Athens CSIO3 * -W height 1.45m. 2nd place was won for Greece by Alexandros Fourlis with Idefix with 0 points and a time of 61.37. In 1st and 3rd places were two Italians, Emilio Bicocchi with Flinton with 0 points and the best time 59.54 and Andrea Venturini with Abou Sim Bei with 0 and time 62.20.
In today’s 2nd class, of Athens CSIO3 * -W height 1.30m. Yiannis Skandalis and Vacaress won for Greece the 1st place with a clear round and the best time, 32.53, in a total of 37 athletes. In 3rd place was another Greek athlete Kriton Zafeiropoulos with Dicaprio with 0 points and a time of 33.49, while in 2nd place was Taha Yedikares from Turkey with Atleet with also 0 points and a time of 32.61.
In today’s first CSIYH class, winner was Filippo Lupis with Jack Daniels from Italy with 0 points and the best time of 36.98. In 2nd and 3rd place were two Greek athletes. Kriton Zafeiropoulos with Painted Black with 0 points and a time of 37.19 and Alexandros Fourlis with Freddo Cappuccino with 0 points and a time of 37.66.
In the 4th class of the day and 1st of CSI1 * height 1.05m. winner was Eleni Polyviou from Cyprus with Saigon with a clear round and best time of 28.86. In 3rd place was Greek Ioanna Kontokonstanti with Cardini with 0 points and a time of 31.41 and in 2nd place was Peter Cholakov from Bulgaria with Cloetta with 0 points and a time of 30.10.
In the last class of the day and first of the CSIOCh in 1st place was Petros Georgiou from Cyprus with Lansi with a clear round in time 29.81, followed in 2nd and 3rd place respectively by Ela Jansel Genel with Hanelore from Turkey with 0 points and time 32.05 and Mariam Albatul Nasser with Chacco Bello from Romania with 0 points and a time of 32.39.
Tomorrow, the 2nd day of AEF 2021 will start at 8.30 and will also include five classes with the best, the M Grand Prix of the Athens CSIO3*-W at 17.00,  height of 1.40-1.60m. which the National TV and Communication Sponsor, will broadcast live through its digital platform ERTFLIX.
