Autopsy exam underway for the horse Kregou Brecourt

An official statement was released yesterday by the Italian Equestrian Federation (FISE) relating to the death of the horse Kregou Brecourt during a race at the international event at San Giovanni in Marignano, Italy.
FISE are currently analysing the report into the death, but have confirmed that since it was an international event, the final word lies with the International Federal Equestrian governing body (FEI).
A post-mortem examination is currently underway and should it reveal any irregularities and need for sanctions, FEI will look to then call upon the federal prosecutor for further investigations.
