Basel trip for Gaudiano, Moneta and Zorzi
The world class showjumping Grand Prix at Longines CSI Basel takes place this week.
As usual, the world’s best riders will be competing in the Swiss five-star event. Three Italians will also join into the group: Emanuele Gaudiano with Carlotta 232, Caspar and Chalou; Luca Maria Moneta atop of Ambra, Connery and Neptune Brecourt; Alberto Zorzi with Contanga 3, Danique and Florette van het Lambroeck.
Top names are Edwina Tops-Alexander (California, Cinsey and Inca Boy van’t Vianahof), Belgium’s Pieter Devos (Apart, Claire Z, Gin D), Nicola and Olivier Philippaerts respectively with H&m Harley v. Bisschop, H&M Zilverstar T and Extra, H&M Legend of Love, Icos, Frence’s Roger Yves Bost (Qoud’Coeur de la Loge, Sunshine du Phare, Sydney Une Prince), Simon Delestre (Chadino, Chesall Zimequest, Filou Carlo Zimequest), Julien Epaillard (Red Queen Davier, Toupie de la Roque, Usual Suspect d’Auge), Philippe Rozier (Reveur de Kergane, Sheriff de la Nutria LM, Unpulsion de la Hart) and Kevin Staut (Ayade de Septon et HDC, Elky van het Indihof HDC, Reveur de Hurtebise HDC).
Other world’s famous riders involved are Greece’s Athina Onassis with MHS Going Global and Vannan, Ireland’s Bertram Allen (Gin Chin van het Lindenhof, Hector van d’Abdijhoeve, Molly Malone V) and Denis Lynch (All Star 5, Ho Go Van de Padenborre, RMF Corvich). Also Netherland’s Harrie Smolders (Don VHP Z, Emerald N.O.P, Zinius), coming from a successful 2017, will be featuring, along with Portugal’s Luciana Diniz (Camargo 2, Fit For Fun 13, Isabeau), Sweden’s Rolf-Goran Bengtsson (Oak Grove’s Carlyle, Spring Dark, Yajamila) and obviously the big Swiss group including Pius Schwizer (About A Dream, Balou Rubin R, Coeur de Nobless M), Janika Sprunger (Bacardi VDL, Charlie Boy, Uptown Boy), Martin Fuchs (Clooney 51, Cristo, Victoria), Paul Estermann (Cantini Della Caccia, Curtis Sitte, Lord Pepsi) and Romain Duguet (Calder, Sherazade du Gevaudan, Twentytwo des Biches).
