Belgian takes honours on last day of Cagliari Equimediterranea Fair

Ignace Philips-de Vuyst on Taranto van’t Hertsveld won the CSI two star event in Cagliari over the weekend.The Belgian finished in 44.05 ahead of Swiss rider Jane Richard on Jalla de Graverie and compatriot Clint Sulmoni on Rivella Sitte who won the 145cm on Saturday.Gianleonardo Murruzzu on Elisir Fatale was the highest placed of the local riders, finishing in eighth.In the 140cm, Alberto Tatti on Fritz Baio and Police officier David Sbardella on Suzie both placed while Alessandro Anedda on Golden Bay was fifth.French rider Benedicte Franquet on No Cinaco Z was first in the 135 ahead of Roberto Turchetto on Jessica du Bois and Marco Pau on Denise de Monte Longu.There was Sardinian success in the 125 and 115, respectively, with Ferrari on Picolit do Rioacima and Simone Pisu on Iperone taking the honours.Overall, it was another successful event on the island and the organising committee have to be congratulated for all the hard work they put in.
