Belgium triumph in Morocco Royal Tour 2017
Belgium concluded the 8th edition of the Morocco Royal Tour with World Cup victory, as Virginie Thonon with High Tech Vy de Septon went to the top in the CSI3*-W Grand Prix of His Majesty King Mohammed VI.
Competition was hard on the course designed by Italy’s Uliano Vezzani that appeared smooth but revealed to be technical and challenging as the class progressed. In the end, only six riders produced clear rounds.
The list for the second round included big names as Pius Schwizer, Alain Jufer, Nicolas Deseuzes, Karim Elzoghby, Nadja Peter-Steiner or even Simon Delestre among others. The duo of Thonon and High Tech Vy de Septon had to fight hard to clinch the victory with the unique double clear of the Grand Prix, beating Pius Schwizer with Balou Rubin R. Earlier in the morning, in the Longines FEI ranking Prix OCP, Switzerland’s Alain Jufer with Casall scored another victory, the fourth since the beginning of the circuit in Tetouan.
