Brazil first in Nations Cup with Italy third

Brazil won the CSIO 3* Nations Cup in Samorin coming out ahead of the eleven-team competition over two rounds. The Brazilians picked up eight penalty points ahead of Germany and Italy. The Brazil captain Christina Harbich saw Germany make a late charge. Marlon Módolo Zanotelli  of Brazil took on Jörne Sprehe who on the dark bay Stakki’s Jumper, committed an error in the second round while the Brazilian on the 10-year-old bay Celena VDL went round clear to lead the South Americans to victory.Karina Johannpeter on Casper  played a vital role with two clear rounds. Italy finished third with a team composed of Luigi Polesello on the 14-year-old stallion Panama Tame who had the only clear round; Matilde Giorgia Bianchi on Lejano, (22/np); Filippo Codecasa on Gi High della Bassanella (0/8); Claudio Delnevo riding Clarico (4/0).
