Bruno Chimirri double at the Tuscany Tour 2018

The Tuscany Tour in Arezzo ended with the same result of the opening CSI3* Grand Prix. Bruno Chimirri, aboard of Tower Mouche, grabbed the victory also in the “Cavalleria Toscana“ CSI4* at the Arezzo Equestrian Centre to double the success in the final week of the event.
Competition was high since the very beginning in front of a fully packed Boccaccio Arena, with 50 pairs at the starting-line fighting on a very technical course designed by chef de piste Elio Travagliati, Paolo Rossato and Unni Gustafsson.
The home hero, riding his 11-year-old stallion Tower Mouche (Diamant de Semilly x Bleau Blanc Rouge II) was the fastest, stopping the clock on 40.27 seconds with a clean sheet. “I’m very happy of the result,“ Chimirri said at the end of the test. “It was my horse who did a great job, the course was really difficult and the other riders were well-prepared, so the fight was tough. It went well!“
Behind him, the second- and third-placed also made great performances, both ending with the same time (0/0 in 40.71). It was finally drawn that Ireland’s Conor Swail on Domino van de Valhoeve was taking the runner up position the runner-up, while Poland’s Krzysztof Ludwiczak atop of Stalando 2 completed the top three.
Good Equestrian World also for the Italians who moved to the second round: Luca Mariani was sixth, Antonio Alfonso seventh and Massimo Grossato eight. The Small Silver Tour Grand Prix was won by France star Harold Boisset, who was the fastest atop of Quolita Z (0/0 in 36.35). Behind him Germany’s Jana Wargers (Afrah 4) and Belgium’s Gauthier Mercenier (Berdina). The event is not over yet in Arezzo, since the Equestrian Centre will host the Seniores Italian Championship from April 12th to 15th, where the best Italian rider of 2018 will come out. From April 28th to 30th, instead, the Pony Master Show is another big date long-awaited.
