Cavalli d’Italia takes centre stage at the end of month
After having talked for a long time about the many events and exhibitions abroad, we finally can speak about a beautiful Italian initiative that will take place at the end of September: the Cavalli d’Italia was born to bring breeders together to create opportunities to exchange information between industry operators.
The Horse Breeders initiative will be held on Saturday 30 September at the Equipolis Tiziana facility in Fossalta di Portogruaro (VE) and is open to all Italian and foreign breeders who can submit their application for registration by Wednesday, September 20th.
This is the first open event for foals born in 2017 and the first open free jump for foals born in 2014 and 2015, foals will be assessed by type, pace and attitude over obstacles by a high-quality jury of experts: for the first time in Italy there will be two French judges from the ANFF commission who will provide two of its own judges who will apply the same judgments used in the breeding championship in France, and they will be Jean Louis Lenoury and Jacky Misteli to judge the foals.
We recall the great work done in the last few years by the French producers’ chain that has launched a youth circuit to enhance the development of their animals, in addition to a system of training and economic and commercial support for breeders registered in the national chain so it is not by chance that France is currently among the top 10 studbooks in the world according to World Breeding for Sport Horses.
The foals for sale presented during the event will be available upon request to be included in a multimedia catalog that will be published later on the site and on the social media of the event.
For the first time in Italy there will be a far-sighted and genuinely targeted breeding event aimed at the development of the sector on the model of successful foreign events, once again born out of the private initiative alone.
