
Charlotte Dujardin and Valegro win dressage gold at WEG

Charlotte Dujardin and Valegro won the dressage Grand Prix Special at the World Equestrian Games, It was another elegant display from the British pair as they scored 86.120% to win ahead the German Helen Langehanenberg on Damon Hill NRW (silver medal with 84,468%) and Kristina Sprehe with Desperados FRH (bronze with 79,762%) but had to capitulate to the talent of this extraordinary duo.
Kristina Sprehe his first participation at the World Equestrian Games has already collected an important prize: a team gold and an individual bronze in the latter competition in the individual ranking plus overcoming the more experienced Dutch rider Adelinde Cornelissen with Parzival Jerich NOP, in 5th place with Sweden’s Tinne Vilhelmson on Silfvèn Don Auriello.
