This international equestrian show has a unique character, as it takes place at the historic grass Wola Hippodrome and connects two spectacular disciplines: showjumping and driving four-in-hand. The prize pool in the showjumping will reach 925 600 PLN. 4 out of 15 classes will count for the Longines Rankings, and three of them are of special importance: the 145 cm class for faults and time on Friday, the Maciej Frankiewicz Memorial over two rounds on Saturday and the Grand Prix on Sunday, serving as a qualifier for the 2021 European Championships and the 2022 World Championships. The fourth ranking class will be the Middle Round Final on Sunday. The CSI1* includes two rounds: Small Round with classes at the height of 130/135 cm and Elite Tour at 110/115 cm. The CSIYH, as usual in Poznań, is dedicated for six-year-olds.
The Wola Hippodrome will host riders from 26 countries. The audiences will have the chance to see such stars as: German riders Toni and Felix Hassmann, the winner of the 5* Grand Prix in Villach – Great Britain’s Laura Renwick, the fourth athlete of the Olympic Games in Athens Dirk Demeersman from Belgium, the best Danish riders Soren Pedersen and Andreas Schou, the 2019 Grand Prix winner Kristaps Neretnieks from Latvia, the winner of the 2* Grand Prix in Zielona Góra – Lithuania’s Andrius Petrovas, the team from New Zealand preparing for the Olympics including Bruce Goodin and Belgian rider Wilm Vermeir – the winner of the five-star Grand Prix in St Moritz and the best rider of the CSI4* Grand Prix in Poznań in 2016.
The best Polish riders will also take part in 4Foulee, including the medalists of last year’s Championships: Wojciech Wojcianiec, Jarosław Skrzyczyński and Krzysztof Ludwiczak, as well as Maksymilian Wechta, Jan Bobik, Kamil Grzelczyk and Michał Kaźmierczak. Overall, the organizer invited 31 Polish riders to the CSI4*, giving many of them the chance to debut in such an event. Undoubtedly the most spectacular debut will be that of the nine-time Polish National Champion in eventing and four-time Olympian – Paweł Spisak.
This year, 4Foulee will also include a driving four-in-hand competition. The entry list for the CAI2*-H4 includes 5 athletes – 3 from Poland and 2 foreign guests. The audiences will have the chance to see the Polish National Champion and 6-time participant of the World Championships Piotr Mazurek, Wiesław Sadowski with his beautiful friesians, and the 11th athlete of the world rankings – Daniel Schneiders from Austria, runner-up of the World Cup Final in Bordeaux, the winner of two WC classes in Leipzig and Stuttgart.
