Chiara’s victory provides hope for the future

The Regional Show Jumping Championships took place at the St Just Equestrian Center, Paganica (Aquila), on the 5th, 6th and 7th June.The decision to hold the Championships at Aquila, despite the recent earthquakes, was a sign of solidarity from the FISE (The Italian Federation of Equestrian sports) Abruzzo to all the horse riders of the area.Winner of the Regional Trophy in the B80 category was a young local rider, Chiara Montagnani, from the S.Gregorio school of riding.Despite the harsh reality of recent weeks, Chiara had the strength of mind to train hard for the event and took home a well deserved victory for herself and her school, giving many of the local sports enthusiasts some hope for the future.
