Christopher Kläsener Claims the CSI5* 1.55m Main Class at Al Shaqab
Doha, Qatar – 24 January 2026 – Friday evening at the Longines Arena at Al Shaqab delivered top-level sport as Tour 3 of H.H. The Father Amir’s Prix 2026 continued with a full and competitive schedule across multiple international divisions. The spotlight firmly belonged to the CSI5 1.55m Jump-Off*, the main class of the day, which crowned Germany’s Christopher Kläsener as the standout performer of the night.
Main Class Glory: Kläsener and Popeye Shine
Riding the impressive Popeye Vd Bisschop, Kläsener produced a flawless double clear, stopping the clock at 79.73 seconds in the first round before delivering a decisive 35.92 seconds in the jump-off. His confident and controlled performance secured victory in the evening’s headline class and confirmed the pair’s growing strength at CSI5* level.
“Popeye is unbelievable,” Kläsener said after his win. “Every time he goes into the arena, he shows his quality. Now we’ve figured out the speed, and there’s a lot more to come.”

CSI5* 1.45m: Millie Allen Sets the Pace
Earlier in the evening, Great Britain’s Millie Allen claimed the CSI5* 1.45m Faults & Time (LR-D) aboard Quick Diamant HR, posting the fastest clear round in 60.92 seconds. A smooth and efficient round once again highlighted her mare’s affinity with the Al Shaqab arena.
“My mare loves this arena; she keeps winning,” Allen commented. “It’s impressive to beat Emanuele Gaudiano—he is so fast!”

CSI3*: Emanuele Gaudiano on Top in the 1.45m
Italy also enjoyed a major highlight in the CSI3* division, where Emanuele Gaudiano secured first place in the CSI3* 1.45m Faults & Time with Nikolaj de Music, delivering a clear round in 60.32 seconds. Gaudiano’s victory stood out as one of the key international results of the day, underlining his trademark speed and precision against a strong field.
The CSI3* 1.40m class went to Qatar’s Faleh Suwead Al Ajami with Wathnan Qapella, continuing the host nation’s successful run across the tour.



A Full Day of International Sport
Friday’s program also included victories for Suhaim Hamad Al Yafei in the CSI3* 1.30m Special Two-Phase, Omar Mohamed Ahmed in the CSI1* 1.25m, and strong performances from Qatari riders in the Junior and national categories, contributing to a vibrant and competitive atmosphere throughout the venue.
With the main class decided under the lights and top riders delivering world-class performances, Tour 3 at Al Shaqab continues to confirm its status as one of the most compelling fixtures on the international winter circuit.
