CSI3* Oliva Nova: Diamond Tour, Turchetto and Wiepke D awarded 3rd place in the 150 on Saturday

Saturday’s Mediterranean Equestrian Tour in Oliva Nova brought good Equestrian World for Italian riders. Yesterday afternoon was the Diamond Tour race, a two legged category with 1,50m obstacle height, which was won by Cassio Rivetti (UKR) on Bockmanns Lazio (0/0/30,76). Roberto Turchetto on Wiepke D was a protagonist for two excellent laps, which earnt him third place in the final standings. Second spot went to Ireland’s Clem Mc Mahon on Pacino. Andrea Messersì on Cardinale and Giulia Martinengo on Loro Piana Lily both got four penalties. In the morning at 9 was the 1,35m, also with two laps, and Turchetto and Baretto finished only 18/100ths of a second behind Alex Duffy on Romeos Child from Ireland, who won the category. A good double net result for Martinengo and Istafan Sissi. The other trial for the Diamond Tour yesterday, the 1.40m Jump-Off, saw German Marc Bettinger on Elvis van de Vrunte (0/0/37,62), who came before Emile Tacken (HOL) on Ballerina (0/0/37,76). An excellent third place for Giulia Martinengo on Loro Piana Freddie ST who finished the Jump-Off without errors and a time of 38,43 seconds.
