CSI5* LAOHS update

The second big event of three this weekend is in Saint-Tropez where the Longines Athina Onassis Orse Show is more original and exclusive than ever in one of the most spectacular backdrops, Pampelonne beach, which will be teeming with horse lovers there to enjoy the CSI5*.Two competitions were held yesterday. The first, a competition in two phases (1.45) was won by the young Swedish rider, Angelica Augustsson, on Quainton Easy 4, ahead of Frenchman Simon Delestre, who after the sale of Valentino Velvet to Ukrainian magnate Onishchenko is concentrating on younger horses, like Stardust Quinhon, Holsteiner, the 8-year-old he rode yesterday, the daughter of Cabdula du Tillard, completing the run without penalty. Third place was taken by the great friend of the event’s patron, Doda Miranda, Rodrigo Pessoa on Tinkabell 12 (Casco).The complete results: http://eventcontent.hippoonline.de/910/sta_erg/01_ergENG.htm?style=longi…The other competition was the Prix Ville de Ramatuelle at 1.50m against the clock with jump-off. This time victory went to home rider, Julien Epaillard, on the 10-year-old Cristallo A LM with a time of 33.98, comfortably ahead of Brazilian Marlon Mòdolo Zanotelli on AD Clouwni (36.04).
