De Luca impresses in World Cup

Thanks to a tenth place finish in Mechelen, De Luca is now in second place in the Longines FEI World Cup 2016 standings. De Luca was in action with Armitages Boy and now trails the leader Kevin Staut by just one point. Ireland’s Denis Lynch is further being on 45 points in third while the current title holder Steve Guerdat of Switzerland is in fourth.
Focusing back to De Luca, it has been an excellent season for the Azzurri rider: 6th in London, 6th in Madrid, 3rd in Lyon and 7th in Stuttgart. Looking ahead the next leg is 19-22 January in Leipzig. See here for more: http://inside.fei.org/
