The list of the most highly rewarded jumpers in 2017 compiled by Hippomundo found that Ensor de Litrange LXII, ridden by Lorenzo De Luca, was the 14th most successful this year. The BWP Bay earned 44,365 euros this year thanks to his important wins and numerous placements.
Kent Farrington’s Gazelle was the most financially successful this year, earning 1,026,435 euro in prize money; including the 400 thousand Swiss francs (340 thousand euros) awarded by the Geneva Rolex Grand Prix in December.
The second biggest earner was L.B. Convall (Colman), a Holsteiner ridden by Philipp Weishaupt who accumulated 807,648 euros this year.
Third was Portuguese star Luciana Diniz’s Hannover Fit For Fur (For Pleasure) with 710,244 euros won and placement in 48% of competitions.

The horse with the highest number of placements, however, was Simon Delestre’s Hermes Ryan (Hugo Gesmeray, 2005) with 65.1%.
