Delestre triumphs at the Valence Jumping International

Simone Delestre claimed first place in yesterday’s high jump in Valence on 12 year old Chesall Zimequest. The French rider finished with a time of 40.48 seconds in his jump-off. He was followed by Elizabeth Madden riding Breitling LS (0/0:40.69), and Michel Hendrix on Baileys (41.35). Two Italian riders made it into the top ten; Emanuele Gaudiano on Caspar (4) took sixth place, and Piergiorgio Bucci on Ugano de Coquerie (4) came seventh. The day’s final race saw the triumph of Irish rider Michael Duffy, on the 12 year old bay Millfield Ultymate.photo ©Agence RB Presse / J.Rodrigues
