Dutch supremacy at Jumping Amsterdam

The Netherlands ruled the day in the Jumping Amsterdam CS14* Horse Trucks Grand Prix.
Not only Marc Houtzager took the victory with his Sterrehof’s Calimero (by Quidam de Revel), jumping clear in 41.30 seconds, but there was also a total of five Dutch combinations in the jump-off.
Germany’s Daniel Deusser was the only rider who managed to break the string of seven home positions in the final ranking, with his eight finish. In second spot was youngster Michel Hendrix, who also stayed clear in with his Baileys and finished with a time of 41.81 seconds. Michael Greeve and his Whitney BB followed in third place finishing with a time of 42.16 seconds. Fourth was Frank Schuttert with his Chainti’s Champion, followed by Kevin Jochems and his Captain Cooper. Sixth was Robert Vos with Carat and last was Eric van der Vleuten with Wunschkind 19.
However, only three of the five pairs who qualified for the jump-off managed to keep it clear in the second round as well (4 penalties for Schuttert and 8 for Jochems).
Italy’s Gianni Govoni took also part to the event with Queen 2000 Z but had to retire. Full results: http://results.scgvisual.com/2018/amsterdam/r8.html
