Dutton and Z on the lead at US WEG 2018 Test Event

US star Philip Dutton and his 12-year-old Zangersheide gelding Z (Asca X Bellabouche) stood out on the cross country course at the CIC3* WEG Test Event taking place in Tryon. They stopped the clock on 28.0 after crossing just 1 second over the optimum time to clinch the first place.
Dutton was also competing atop of Sew Ready and Fernhill Cubalawn: with them he finished third and fourth. Second place was his fellow countryman, Jordan Linstedt on Revitavet Capato.
Philip Dutton is one of the veterans in the US eventing team and along with the other riders featuring in Tryon this week, he has been testing the course ahead of the World Equestrian Games in September.
