Edoardo Tommaso Fochi triumph in 2018 south and centre Italy championship

Edoardo Tommaso Fochi is the winner of the 2018 south and centre Italy championship of show jumping hosted at the equestrian centre of Le Lame Sporting Club in Montefalco.
The Rome-born rider clinched a double net with one penalty of extra time, leaving behind title holder Pasquale Datena in second and Antonio Maria Garofalo in third position.
Fochi triumphed with his 14-year-old French horse Qaro Dan he has been riding for 9 years.

The south and centre Italy Championships were for the young riders not only a good challenge to test themselves but also a chance to earn the qualification to Piazza di Siena. 
Thanks to the success in the Criterium Pony class, Filippo Cinelli, a 13-year-old Rome-born rider, made it to the 1.10mt grand prix taking place at the same time as CSIO at the Villa Borghese in Rome.
Along with him is Ludovica Mercanti from Pesaro who finished in second position. The 15-year-old talent will also take part to the class at the Galoppatoio Arena.
