Emanuele Gaudiano: from Verona to Prague, powered by Parlanti
A few weeks after the close of Fieracavalli Verona 2024—an event that brought thousands of enthusiasts together from 6 to 9 November—the images and voices of its protagonists return to the spotlight. Among them, Emanuele Gaudiano shared with us not only his assessment of the competition weekend in Verona, but also an in-depth reflection on his long-standing relationship with Parlanti, the top Italian bootmaker that has accompanied his success for many years.
An intense weekend of sport and family: Lisa Gaudiano’s triumph
Looking back on his days in Verona, Gaudiano doesn’t hide a hint of regret: “One mistake in the small Grand Prix… a bit unlucky,” he says of his round with Nikolaj de Music. Still, there was no shortage of highlights: “Vasco won a speed class,” confirming outstanding physical and mental form.

Among the most emotional moments at Fieracavalli, Gaudiano recalls with particular joy his daughter Lisa’s performance, as she delivered a brilliant weekend. “Let’s say she did better than I did so far: three ribbons—first, second and fourth place,” he adds with a proud smile.
Attention then turns to the recent handover of Chalou—an experienced, accomplished horse—into the young rider’s hands. A natural transition, conceived to make the most of the bay’s experience as he enters a new phase of his sporting career. “The pair has come together well. The road is long, but they’ve made a very good start,” Gaudiano notes, pleased with the duo’s first results.

Training routines and future goals
With an exceptionally dense international schedule, Gaudiano spends only “ten weeks a year” at home. His routine is relentless: targeted work with competition horses, one day devoted to the younger ones in the stable, and then off again to the next show.
His end-of-season commitments also took him to Prague, where this weekend his team—the Prague Lions—won the 2025 Global Champions League, alongside show jumping legends Yuri Mansur and Peder Fredricson. A prestigious achievement that closes the year with momentum and new ambition.
After a brief break, Gaudiano will return to the ring in January for the Oliva Nova Tour in Spain, while his focus is already on 2026: “It will be an important year: we’ve got the World Championships in Aachen, a very demanding venue, and Italy is back in the First Division. Next season promises to be full of top-level events.”
Parlanti: an essential asset in the life of a professional rider

Among the many topics touched on during the interview, Gaudiano also highlighted the extent to which equipment shapes the everyday life of a rider who competes week in, week out. In such technical disciplines, reliable and comfortable materials are indispensable allies.
Speaking about boots, Gaudiano retraces his long relationship with Parlanti, emphasising how he has found in the brand a level of quality that is hard to replace. “In my opinion, Parlanti is top of the range… not only in Italy but worldwide,” he says, a view rooted in experience and in the fact that he wears them for countless hours each day: “We’re in our boots all day long. If they were uncomfortable, it would be torture.”
What he values most is the precision of the fit—refined over the years—and the boots’ ability to provide comfort and durability even during the longest sessions. This goes hand in hand with the brand’s ongoing pursuit of innovative materials and solutions.
Among the models he uses most frequently, Gaudiano mentions the KK-Boots, featuring a Michelin sole, and the Miami, which he prefers in the summer months for their lightness.
A partnership looking to the future
Emanuele Gaudiano’s bond with Parlanti goes beyond a simple sponsorship: a partnership built on trust, craftsmanship, and technical excellence.
With new challenges just around the corner and a 2026 filled with high expectations, Gaudiano is preparing once again to carry the Italian flag into the world’s most prestigious arenas—accompanied by one of the most iconic brands in international equestrian sport.
