Endurance: Azzurri star claims top-ten finish

Riders have been in action at the prestigious ‘Raid di Santa Susanna’ in Spain which saw Italy’s Pietro Moneta finish in 8th place with Psyche du Verdot. The top ten finish is an excellent result for the Italian at one of the eldest and most prestigious endurance events in Europe. Moneta recorded an average time of 14.317 km/h for 11 hours, 23 minutes and 6 seconds. Moneta is one of Italy’s top endurance athletes and first competed at a World Championships for endurance back in 1986. The Azzurri rider is also well known for his participation at the Tevi’s Cup in the USA.
