With the pause complete, attention now turns to the highly anticipated 2026 Winter Equestrian Festival (WEF), which officially begins on December 31 with Premiere Week, launching another full season of elite equestrian sport in Wellington, Florida.

Tanner Korotkin Wins $10,000 Bainbridge Companies 1.40m Open Stake

The week kicked off with the $10,000 Bainbridge Companies 1.40m Open Stake, attracting a competitive field of 37 horse-and-rider combinations.
Tanner Korotkin (USA) claimed top honors aboard Cardozo 4, owned by Todd Minikus LTD, delivering a winning jump-off time of 33.182 seconds.

  • Second Place: Samuel Parot Jr. (CHI) with Tiffany De Olid – 33.697 seconds
  • Third Place: Luis Fernando Larrazabal (VEN) with Ribery – 33.748 seconds

Elizabeth Rinehart Takes Top Honors in $5,000 USHJA National Hunter Derby

Friday’s $5,000 USHJA National Hunter Derby (Hunt-N-Go), presented by Perfect Products, showcased standout performances across both rounds.

Elizabeth Rinehart (USA) and Talk, owned by Charlotte Rossetter, earned scores of 89.5 and 89, securing the win with a combined total of 178.5.

  • Third Place: Denis Sweeney (CAN) & Hennessy – 176

Francisco Goyoaga Mollet Claims Victory in $50,000 Arion Sellier National Grand Prix

Saturday night’s feature event, the $50,000 Arion Sellier National Grand Prix, delivered world-class competition under the lights in Wellington’s International Arena. The evening was complemented by a festive Exhibitor Party, adding holiday spirit to the high-stakes action.

Designed by FEI Level 3 course designer Catsy Cruz (MEX), the technical track featured 13 obstacles and 16 efforts, testing scope, precision, and rideability. From a strong international field, 10 combinations advanced to the jump-off.

Spain’s Francisco Goyoaga Mollet secured the win aboard PST De Muze, owned by Sigma Stables, with a lightning-fast jump-off time of 33.341 seconds.

  • Second Place: Carly Anthony (USA) & Mullentine Shalom – 33.783 seconds
  • Third Place: Samuel Parot (CHI) & Tiffany De Olid – 35.201 seconds

Larrazabal Wins Final Class of the ESP Holiday Series

The Holiday Series concluded Sunday morning with the $5,000 JTWG Inc. 1.35m Open Stake.

Luis Fernando Larrazabal (VEN) earned the victory aboard Cenmietta PS, owned by Leeann Ablin, stopping the clock at 36.106 seconds in the jump-off.

  • Second Place: Jef Lauwers (BEL) & Pikeur Cole’s Balou – 38.461 seconds
  • Third Place: Spencer Brittan (USA) & Inlaws Manolo – 40.585 seconds
