Fei World Cup 2018, US line-up for Paris final

After Alison Robitaille and Mandy Porter, the North American League gives us a new face, the blond 28-year-old Kristen Vanderveen who won on all fronts at the Longines FEI World Cup Jumping Ocala (USA).
Not only did she claim her first Longines victory with an uncatchable jump-off aboard Bull Run’s Faustino de Tili, but she also gained the points necessary to qualify for the Longines FEI World Cup Jumping Final in Paris in three weeks time.
The success at the beautiful Live Oak Plantation in Ocala was a real surprise for the horsewoman herself, since it had been a last minute decision for her to take part in the competition.
Brianne Goutal-Marteau on Viva Colombia posted a slower double clear to take second place. Switzerland’s Beat Mandli rounded out the top three aboard Galan S.
At this stage, after the final event of the North American League, the US line-up for Paris has almost taken shape. It includes Vanderveen, with 41 total points for the season, along with third-ranked Devin Ryan, Jamie Barge, defending World Cup Champion McLain Ward, Beezie Madden, Richard Spooner, Jenni McAllister and the previously mentioned Alison Robitaille and Mandy Porter.
