Fieracavalli 2014: a sample of what’s on offer.

We’re just one day away from the most important indoor event of the season in Italy.
The Fieracavalli Verona is set to get underway and with plenty of new and exciting features coupled with the traditions of this equestrian event.

The latest stage of the Longines FEI World Cup will be taking place in exhibition hall no. 8. The best riders in the world such as the current champion Daniel Deusser and the no. 1 in the Longines ranking list Scott Brash will be leading the way in a star studded line-up.
Exhibition hall no. 2 will be dedicated to the eldest and most noble horse breeds in the world. For example the Arabian Horse is just one of 100 types that will be competing in a range of contests which also includes for the first time ever in Verona the Anica Horse Breeding Award.
Exhibition hall no. 3 has the very best of Italian horse breeding on display with the finals of the MIPAAF competition while exhibition hall no. 5 is going to be an area for the youth categories and will be holding the National Pony Championships and the Progetto Giovani Competition. Exhibition hall no. 8 will play host to the Regions Cup (Italy) reserved to riders under the age of 21 and selected by their respective Italian regions. Exhibition hall no. 9 sees the prestigious horse breeds from Spain, South America and Germany protagonists and is certainly worth visiting.
Exhibition halls 9, 11 and 12 are all dedicated to American equestrianism with the Western Show. Hall 11 is reserved for the Pony Western Championships with dancing displays and country music completing the entertainment whereas hall 12 has the traditional western mounting and herding events.
