Forging a new path

Penelope Lèprevost, gold mdeallist at the Rio 2016 Olympics, has recently parted ways with the long-time sponsor the Haras de Clarbec stable which own a number of top shoses includuing Vaanbond de la Pomme, Ratine de la Rousserie and Flora de Mariposa who Lèprevost ode to victory in the Bazilian Olympics. The decision to part ways was announced last month, and in the meantime the French Olympian has taken advantage of the Vejer de la Frontera tour to try out a few of the promising young horses she’d been raising. On this occasion Lèprevost tested out nine-year-old stallion Vancouver de Lanloe (Toulon), who had previously been in the care of Romain Duguet. The young stallion led Penelope to a respectable 11th place in the Spanish Grand Prix. Three other promising steed at the 37-year-old’s disposal are Big Star des Forets (Voltaire), Broadway de Mormoulin (Kannan) who has been with her since the age of five, and the seven-year-old Banzai de Semilly (Quaprice Bois Margot).
