Frank McCourt acquires 50-per-cent stake in Global Champions Tour

Frank McCourt has acquired a 50-per-cent stake in the Global Champions Tour show jumping equestrian series. The former owner of the Los Angeles Dodgers Major League Baseball franchise a deal with the founder of the tour Jan Tops (in the photo).
This year, the tour will stage 14 premier circuit events across Europe and Asia, but McCourt plans to expand the tour beyond into new markets and take the tour into an exciting new era.
