FRIES WINS IN SOPOT

Christian Fries on Lanco won the Sopot GP after two clear rounds in a time of 40.61seconds, some two seconds ahead of Tiit Kivisild on Torrero (0/0; 42.70) and the Finn Satu Liukkonen riding Qui Vivra Verra. For Italy, Fabio Brotto was eighth on New Zealand delle Roane (0/4; 50.10) and Simone Coata tenth on Mirage de Levauz (0/8; 41.10).
