GB win gold in children category at European Youth Championships

The first medals have been handed out at the European Youth Championships in Samorin, Slovakia.
In the children category, taking home the gold medal in the show-jumping was Great Britain led by Claire Whitaker. This is how the British team lined-up: Angel Tough, Jocata Symons, Matilda Lanni and Oliver Fletcher.
GB only collected 9 penalties to take the win ahead of Belgium who came in second place. Taking the final podium slot was surprise outfit Poland.
Italy meanwhile came in fifth place after 8 penalties. The Azzurri took to the field as follows: Martina Ferrari, Giulia Bertolla, Martina Simoni and Lorenzo Correddu.
