Great Britain came out best in the FEI Nations Cup CSIO 4* at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center in Wellington. The team led by coach Di Lampard finished the class on a spectacular cumulative score of zero faults over two rounds of competition.
Teammates Amanda Derbyshire on Liubanta BH, Emily Mason aboard Explosion W and Ben Maher with Tic Tac each logged faultless trips, with Emily Moffitt atop of Hilfiger Van De Olmenhoeve’s high score canceled out of the final tally.
The British took the lead from the very beginning, beating the competition of Chile, Venezuela, Ireland, Brazil and Mexico to secure the $150,000 prize money ahead of reigning champion Ireland and third-placed Mexico.
