Gucci to sponsor European Equestrian Masters

Gucci have announced a new tie-in with the European Equestrian Masters as its title sponsor. It is the company’s first association with the annual Paris International showjumping event – which takes place during the Paris Horse show.“I’ve been an avid horse rider since I was a child. It’s a pleasure for me to be involved in a programme that is as close to my own heart as it is to the rich history of the house of Gucci,“ said Gucci creative director Frida Giannini.The Gucci Masters will take place from December 10 to 13 and will see the top names in the sport taking part, including Olympic champion Eric Lamaze from Canada, world number one Marcus Ehning, World Cup winner Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum and World Champion Jos Lansink.The team will also be present for a programme of 23 events with around 170,000 visitors expected to attend. There will be 400 exhibitors as well and visitors will be allowed to view the mounts in the paddock.
