Horse-Racing: seven pairs to do battle in the Premio Augusto Calzolari

For lots of people Saturday night means time spent dancing away at the local disco, but we hope that many will spend it at the Savio racetrack in Cesena for an evening full of excitement which will come to a climax with the “Premio Augusto Calzolari“ trial.
The trial is the seventh of the eight races set to go ahead and 7 pairs will be competing unless there are any last-minute changes. Radio-box cita Sogno d’amore with Baroncini, Saba del Ronco with Vecchione and Specialess with Andrea Vitagliano are the favourites for the win. However, we shall also stick our necks out and add the name of Sharon Gar with driver Pippo Gubellini who will start with the number 5.
With Maurizia Bertolani, Sharon Gar performed brilliantly out on the track at Agnano last May. If the performance level of the horse remains the same, we could see it at the prize ceremony later. A lot will also depend on how the performer does at the start of the race.
Regardless of the outcome, one thing is for sure in that fun and entertainment is guaranteed to those families and tourists who decide to spend their evening at the race-track which will also put on other forms of entertainment.
