HSJ looks ahead to big events around Europe

Our diary this week takes us to Rome for the long-awaited Italian leg of the Furusyyia Fei Nations Cup 2016 where the best  show jumping names in  the world are expected including the world champion Holland team coached by Rob Ehrens who has already announced that the team will use the event in preparation for the Olympic Games in Rio.Already announced are: the German riders Christian Ahlmann and Marcus Ehning, the French Simon Delestre, the American Beezie Madden and the Canadian Eric Lamaze. There will be free access to the public in Piazza di Siena again this year for the grass area on the Casina di Raffaello side or the balcony at Casina Clock.

We also have the Portuguese CSIO3 * in Lisbon for the Furusyyia Fei Nations Cup second European division with the Italians: Linda Bratomi, Nicolò Vincenzo Callerio, Vincenzo Chimirri, Filippo Codecasa, Clementina Grossi, Andra Alessia Rossi and Francesco Turturiello..

Another important event is in Opglabbeek in Belgium reserved for youth categories, the Sentower Park will stage the pony classes for children, juniors and young riders.

We move to Chantilly for the Longines Global Champions Tour 2016, traveling to the French capital of the are Chiara and Carlo Bernardini as representatives of the Arezzo Equestrian Centre, Chantilly Jumping partners.
