Italy gain medal at Paralympic Championships

Italy gained some excellent results at the European Paralympic Championships in Kristiansand. Andrea Vigon on Priool picked up a bronze medal in the 1A Individual grade event while Sara Morganti on Dollaro de Villanova finished fourth in a category dominated by the British. Emanuele Burchianelli and Silvia Veratti also finished in the top seven in their events. Great Britain won the competition overall, with Germany second and Holland third. The excellent results by the Azzurri ensured qualification for the next WEG.
