Jumping Vermezzo, good start for Paolo Paini and Ottava Meraviglia

The Vermezzo Winter Show started on Friday at the Pala Show Jumpers. The CSI3* featured international big names such as Switzerland’s Jane Richard Philips, who won the 1.45/1.50m Prix Kep Italia atop of Izmir van de Baeyenn.  Azzurri’s Paolo Paini with Ottava Meraviglia di Cà San Giorgio clinched an excellent third spot behind Fabio Crotta riding Caressa Z.  The top ten also included Italy’s Roberto Arioldi (6th with Dundee v/h Marienshof), Clementina Grossi (10th with ZQuasimodo R), Eugenio Grimaldi (11th on Hurricane vh Kruitkorf), Gianluca Graziotti (12th on Crack Uno), Giovanni Sapuppo (13th riding Collinus) and Paolo Adamo Zuvadelli (14th on Chaccieny).    Today is scheduled the 1.45/1.50m Prix Group Whafe Event and the 1.40m Prix Loro Piana later on.  Live results onwww.clearround.it photo: Paolo Paini ITA e Ottava Meraviglia di Cà San Giorgio in azione a San Gallo
