Michal Jung has extended his lead at the Badminton Horse Trials after the second round of the eventing competition in Great Britain.
The German rider took the lead in the provisional standings after the initial dressage section and consolidated his leadership following the cross-country trial. Jung’s impressive display also keeps him on track for an historic achievement: the Rolex Grand Slam.
The eventing star is competing with La Bioestethique Sam FBW with his nearest challenger Andreas Ostholt trailing 9 points behind in the standings and only this morning’s show-jumping trial standing in his way of sealing victory.
