La Playa ready for Nino Fargione memorial

The Sicilian showjumping summer season continues with the Nino Fargione memorial event at Cec La Playa in Catania which starts on August 22nd. It is the 11th year of the event run by the Fargione family and even though it is the height of the holiday season, a large number of entrances are expected. The BP60, B80, B100, B110, C115, C120 and C130 categories will be represented and prize money will total 4,600 Euro and entry to the Equestrian Centre at La Playa is free. The director of the event is Rosalba Bertuccio, who will be supported by Elisabeth Fargione, Rita Rizzo, Germana Veneziani, Sabrina Parrinello, Tommaso Favata and Ferdinando Girella.
