Lino Sordelli dies aged 87

Lino Sordelli died on Wednesday 29th aged 87. He was known as the ‘Presidente of Change’ and guided the FISE (Italian Federation of Equestrian Sport) from 1978 to 1988 making the sport of equestrianism more accessible to everybody without losing its traditions. Lino Sordelli’s greatest moment came in the Moscow Olympics of 1980 when he won a gold and silver medal in the complete category.
