Lorenzo de Luca triumphs at Piazza di Siena

Lorenzo de Luca and Halifax van het Kluizebos (Heartbreaker / Fétic du Pa) triumphed yesterday at Piazza di Siena 24 years after the victory by Arnaldo Bologni who on that occasion rode May Day.The rider out of the Stephex of the stables came out top at the end of a very exciting round ahead of the Irishman Bertram Allen riding Hector van d’Abdijhoeve and the Australian Edwina Tops-Alexandre with Inca Boy van’t Vianahof.
It was de Luca greatest win having also placed first in the CSI5 * like the Grands Prix CSI 5* in Shanghai and Valkenswaard in 2017, and in Dublin in the CSIO 5* in 2016.
