Marrana wins endurance event in Marche

The Sirolo (Marche) endurance event opened the new season and Abruzzo rider Chiara Marrana won on Duina.The competitors and fans had been looking forward to the return of the event through the countryside but there had been some problems in finding sponsors which was a pity for all those concerned considering the hard work that had gone into ensuring that endurance continues to be part of the fabric of this part of Italy.The 120km was the main event and Marrana came home with an average time of 16.193 km/h. Gianfelice D’Agostino on Gerondina finished with an average time of 15,685 km/h.Third was Gian Luca on Lady Famoso ahead of Federico Di Matteo on Isidoro.
