Michael Jung stars at Jumping Bordeaux

There was a big celebration at the Jumping Bordeaux yesterday, as Michael Jung clinched another impressive victory in the Devoucoux Indoor Derby.
The worldwide most beloved eventer, who counts more than 105 thousand followers on his facebook page, holds almost all titles: Olympic, World and European. He shows the same agility in dressage, even though it is not his favourite discipline, as in cross country and showjumping. And he actually won Peelbergen CSI2* Grand Prix few weeks ago.
In Bordeaux Michael presented his youngest promising horses: he won the cross Devocoux Indoor Derby with 8-year-old Hanoverian Corazon, but he will be soon back to businness with his 9-year-old Westahlen FischerSolution.
With him he won in Peelbergen few weeks ago and he will ride him for his show jumping team debut for Germany next month in the Abu Dhabi Nations Cup CSIO5*.
Jung also brought 10-year-old Westfahlne FischerChelsea in Bordeaux.
The German star appreciated the fact that the course of the Devocoux Indoor Derby was well designed and especially the fact that the horses had the opportunity to explore it beforehand because the fences were already a little familiar for the horses.
Speaking with the press officers of the Bordeaux event, Michael explained that he was really impressed by the warmth of the crowd. He said they encouraged not only their home heros like Maxime Livio but even the foreign riders.
Tonight all eyes will be on the FEI World Cup, where top riders will be looking to qualify for the final in Paris. Among them, there are also Italy’s Alberto Zorzi with Ego van Orti and Lorenzo De Luca with Ensor de Litrange LXII.
