Moneta and Del Nevo in the Azzurri Team for Verona
Two more Italians are joining the Azzurri team who will be in action in Verona for the Longines FEI World Cup Jumping.
Following to the last minute withdrawal of two Quatar riders, Luca Maria Moneta and Claudio Del Nevo could be added to the 15 Italian pairs who will be involved from October 27 to 29 on the famous Verona course. Respectively a veteran and a debutan, they would not feature in Sunday’s event though, which is valid as third round of the 2017/2018 Longines FEI World Cup Western European League. Another Italian young talent will be competing, Luigi Polesello. This is the Azzurri team taking part in the World Cup Grand Prix: Emilio Bicocchi, Piergiorgio Bucci, Lorenzo De Luca, Juan Carlos Garcia, Emanuele Gaudiano, Giulia Martinengo Marquet, Luca Marziani, Luigi Polesello and Alberto Zorzi. For the CSI5*-W category, instead, the Italian riders involved are: Roberto Arioldi, Filippo Marco Bologni, Mirco Casadei, Alessia Costalla, Claudio Del Nevo, Massimiliano Ferrario, Luca Maria Moneta and Michele Previtali. The entry list is settled, with 50 top riders coming from 17 countries including Australia, Austria, Belgium, Colombia, Egypt, Germany, Great Britain, Greece, Ireland, Norway, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and Italy. photo: credits Equi-Equipe
