Montefalco, Guspini success seals the season

The Grand Prix 140 of the A 3* “Trophy Umbria Equitazione & Bac Tecnology“ came to an end with only two clear double rounds. Andrea Guspini on Ocean Girl and Gianluca Iannucci on Slatan Raye had a starring role, with the first snatching the victory with a second-round time of 42”43. Third place was Paolo Mencolini atop of Vesuvio Delque. Guspini’s success sealed the official ending of the 2017 calendar for the Horses Le Lame Sporting Club. Here below are the show jumping riders featuring at the Montefalco Arena:

Andrea Guspini – Ocean Girl  And here are the pairs selected for the World Breeding Jumping Championships for Young Horses 2017 in Lanaken: Sansa 2, with Pietro Lazzaro; Vivaldi VD Esberg Z with Giovanni Consorti; Gotham City P.L. ridden by Filippo Lupis; Gione Fortuna (Giovanni Lucchetti); Baltimora Du Sud (Samuele Maestri); Liebe de Muze (Marco Debolini); Grenoble D.N. (Giovanni Lucchetti); Kelly Tje F (Marco Debolini); Abou Sim Bel (Andrea Caprara). The window of the breeding horses for sale was also high profile, including 22 yong horses (11 foals and 11 yearlings) coming from Umbria, Lazio and Tuscany. From show jumping to dressage, after the Italian Cup (involving also the para-riders) and the competition national B of Trophy Umbria Equitazione, the Zampolini family hosted the Italian Championships of dressage and freestyle, crowning twice Valentina Truppa atop of Ranieri and celebrating all the 2017 best riders of the rectangle for each category. It was an intense year at Montefalco.
