Nations Cup opens season in the US

Time has come for the Nations Cup to land on the US soil as well, with the first seasonal event taking place at the HITS Post Time Farm west of Ocala, Florida on Sunday.
The CSIO will feature more than 30 riders from seven nations: United States, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Ireland, Germany and Australia. The opening ceremony will begin at noon, while the competition one hour later (8pm CET).

In the meanwhile, the Longines $265,000 Grand Prix took place on Friday and crowned Australia’s Rowan Willis. The 38-year-old rider set the record time aboard the 12-year-old AES-mare, Blue Movie (f. Chacco Blue), finishing clear in 47.46 seconds.The pair was followed by Devin Ryan with the 9-year-old KWPN-gelding Eddie Blue (f. VDL Zirocco Blue). The local combination crossed the finish in 48.47 seconds staying ahead of Rodrigo Lambre with the 12-year-old Velini (f.
