Olympic Medalists Laura Kraut and Becky Moody to Conduct Lessons at FEI World Cup™ Finals 2026 in Fort Worth
Two Olympic medallists in equestrian sport will take centre stage in a special public event during the FEI World Cup™ Finals 2026. American rider Laura Kraut and British dressage star Becky Moody will deliver two demonstration lessons in Fort Worth, Texas, offering riders and enthusiasts a unique opportunity to learn from two of the leading athletes on the international stage.
The initiative will take place at Dickies Arena on Friday, April 10, 2026. At 11:00 a.m., Laura Kraut will lead a session dedicated to show jumping, followed at 2:00 p.m. by a dressage lesson conducted by Becky Moody. Both sessions will be open to the public, and tickets are already available online.
The event forms part of the programme of the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ Final and the FEI Dressage World Cup™ Final, scheduled to run from April 8 to 12, 2026. The Finals are organised by the Split Rock Jumping Tour (SRJT) with the support of the City of Fort Worth and the Fort Worth Sports Commission.

Laura Kraut: a career at the top of the sport
Laura Kraut has enjoyed an outstanding international career representing the United States. She has competed in four Olympic Games, winning three medals, as well as participating in three World Equestrian Games, the 2023 Pan American Games, and numerous FEI World Cup™ Finals and Nations Cup competitions.
Her Olympic debut came at Sydney 2000, while one of the defining moments of her career was the team gold medal at the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games. Kraut later returned to the Olympic podium with team silver medals at Tokyo 2021 and Paris 2024. With the medal won in Paris, she became the oldest American woman to win an Olympic medal since the 1904 Games, as well as the oldest American athlete to reach the Olympic podium since 1952.
Among her other major achievements are team silver at the 2006 World Equestrian Games and team gold in 2018. At the 2023 Pan American Games, she helped the United States secure team gold, finishing fourth individually.
Based between Florida and Great Britain, Kraut runs a successful training operation with her long-time partner Nick Skelton, the British Olympic gold medallist. She is currently ranked 11th in the Longines FEI World Rider Rankings and was inducted into the Show Jumping Hall of Fame in 2024.
Becky Moody among the leading figures in dressage
Becky Moody is also one of the standout figures in international equestrian sport. Together with her sister Hannah, she runs Moody Dressage, a training centre near Sheffield, England, where she focuses on developing both horses and riders.
Moody holds more than 30 national titles in the United Kingdom and serves on the British Dressage Training Committee, while also officiating as a Young Horse judge. On the international stage, she won team bronze at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, where she also placed eighth individually.
She is currently ranked fourth in the FEI Dressage World Rider Rankings, confirming her status among the world’s top dressage riders. A UKCC Level 3 certified coach, Moody has previously been part of the Podium Potential World Class Squad and was named Northern Region Coach of the Year.
The FEI World Cup™ Finals in the United States
The FEI Jumping World Cup™ Final, established in 1979, is one of the most prestigious events on the international show jumping calendar. In the United States, the Final has been hosted in cities such as Baltimore (1980), Tampa (1989), Del Mar (1992), Las Vegas on several occasions, and Omaha in 2017 and 2023.
The FEI Dressage World Cup™ Final, first held in 1986, has also taken place in the United States in Los Angeles (1995), Las Vegas, and Omaha.
Single-session tickets are already available, with prices ranging from $50 to $300 depending on the day and seat location. Discounts are available for groups of nine or more, while all-session tickets and VIP table reservations are also still available.
