On the lookout for Govoni

It has become a pleasurable pastime for us at HSJ to track down Gianni Govoni and follow his stopovers. His horses are travelling the length and breadth of the world this year and it’s getting trickier and trickier to pin down Italy’s Speedy Gonzales’ whereabouts. This time he has managed to deceive us; we thought he would turn up at the CSI5* at Deauville but he has in fact cropped up at the CSI4* at Donaueschingen. Other Italians, Anna Paprocka Campanella with Prego and Federico Addari on Wolkentanz IX, are competing in the dressage.
Gianni’s horsebox is undoubtedly over-spilling with manes and tails as keeping him company are Joyau d’Opal, Sensation, Barbie and Village Wonder.
